I am 45, married and have two adorable daughters. I was born in Russia but spent my twenties in the Netherlands and feel more Dutch than Russian. After living 10 years in Spain, I have grown to love this country. I live in Madrid and consider this place my home, at least for now.
In my 20s and 30s I worked for big companies and travelled the world. I have enjoyed my corporate career and success which make me feel proud. I left this employment, however, to give full attention to my kids. I have never regretted that decision.
Today I have a diverse portfolio of activities, which allows me to do what I am passionate about with enough time left for my family.
My current activities:
1. I am an active investor and dedicate time to learn, research investment opportunities and connect with other investors. You can always ask me about my personal investments, there are no secrets there. And if you attend my events and courses you will hear me talking about them.
2. Since 2016 I have run FunFinance Virtual Business School for Kids, where kids from different countries connect in one virtual classroom to learn about business and economy.
3. Women Investors Club is my latest initiative created in 2019. It allows me to meet interesting women and motivates me to be an educated investor.
IESE Business School has played an essential role in my life. I remain an active member of the alumni community and contribute as a vice-president of the MBA-07 class.
INC is a vibrant community of expatriates in Madrid. It helps me remember my travels and feel the unique vibes which only come from a diverse international group of global citizens https://www.incmadrid.org/about-us/
It is never easy to be a starting entrepreneur away from home. IWBB is a strong community of women entrepreneurs, where I found the support I needed and built friendships. https://www.facebook.com/groups/iwbbabroad
